P1000 Stuck in the Mud,Engine Stalls when Winching?

I was stuck in a black mud hole today with a 30° lean to the passenger side. The only hook-up for my winch was a 30° angle from the passenger side, I tried it but now I had a 45°lean and no traction. I don't know why but tightening the winch and giving her throttle kept causing a stall?--- any answers for that? I called my friend with his P500 and with both 4500lb winches I got out.

PS: To my stuck in the mud post, the Maxxis Carnivores are not as good as the OE Big Horns 2.0 in mud.
