I searched and can’t find old threads that I think answered the question.
I have an extra pair of 10” factory rear rims and wonder if my next tires could all be 25x10x12. I measured the offset of my 8” front rims (5”) and 10” rear rims (6”). I have 1 1/2” spacers on the front wheels now.
When I do a quick measurement they look like they’ll fit. I’m not sure about clearance when turned fully.
Is it more difficult to steer with the wider front tires? Any difference in traction in 4wd? Reduced turn radius from the tires rubbing the frame?
I drive primarily national forest logging roads, some really rocky. No sand and in the spring it’s Montana clay-based mud time.
The ground clearance is so small I’m tired of the body pan getting stuck on snow and digging underneath to back up, so I only use it to plow in the winter.
Thanks.
