Hi my 2009 muv700 has recently had a starter motor replaced and now 2 months on has been starting badly and now won't start at all. Lights come up but won't turn over. Any suggestions please ?

Have u checked the battery voltage before and during cranking? Check all battery cables/connections. Should have a good ground from battery to frame and engine. Sometimes u can feel the cables for heat if there's a bad connection after trying to crank.

I recommend after checking connections to examine and test the new starter. Let us know what you find!

Hi, yes the battery voltage, cables etc are fine, there are 12 volts to the starter motor, so I am guessing its that, it's only been in a couple of months. is there any way of testing it? Also, I still have the old genuine honda one, are they able to be rebuilt?

Did you check the voltage @the starter while cranking?
