  1. 1000-5
I added a small solar panel to the roof of my 1000-5, with a solar charge controller so it will always have a topped off main battery. This means I don't have to keep hooking up a battery tender to maintain the battery, the 1000-5 will just maintain itself with a little sunlight. This is perfect for semi covered storage, or when staged on a trailer for transport to another location. I use Anderson style connectors to make connections standard and easier to move/bypass if needed.

The solar panel is mounted to the back area of the roof, so it won’t get snagged by trees or anything.

1st. Welcome from central upstate N.Y
Many good people & information on the Honda forum AND they LIKE PICTURES
There is a Rule on Pictures <> Watch out for Picture Police <> could get a Ticket & Fined.

RED was the1st color all other colors followed hopping to catch some of the Glory! Honda hopes they sell.

This Crowd EAGAR to help for sure <> Load your C.C. <> Empty checkbook <> lower your Net Worth

I Use a flexable/portable solar panel <> take the panel with me <> also use Anderson2 prong plugs ( panel Not used when towing or riding ) Figure it wouldn't last long in the woods or <>65/75 mph on the Highway.

Front & Rear use ( 2in.Receiver mounted Warn Axon 4500 Winch ) use the 3 prong Anderson plugs

Enjoy the New Toy
