Snowmobile weekend 21’

Finally got a good base to do some sledding up at my cabin with some of our long time high school friends and a few of there kids. Was cold as balls Friday night a balmy -8 and during the day friday was about 14 for the high. Michigan is still in 3/4 lockdown thanks to our fantastic Gov . so any of the bars and pubs are only open to the outdoors and u have to reserve an igloo/tent. Got a tent at Ma Ditters in Lazern by mistake and luck. Was nice and warm and we had lunch. So far since friday weve put 178 miles on trail, not bad with a group of six. These are the same trails we ride the pioneer on in the summer. Snow has be good so far not great. Some areas have had some dirt witch is not good for sledding. But overall its been good. Lots of fun, heading out today again and headed home tomorrow. My 11yr old lab has been enjoying the extra from peole. My buddy Tony took a pic with him last night.

Its fun. They move pretty quick. Its more fun when places are open along the way. But we always make the best of it.

Its fun. They move pretty quick. Its more fun when places are open along the way. But we always make the best of it.

I noticed the speedo on the machine, scary fast ! Looks like some Hot Damn or cinnamon schnapps might be needed to warm a feller up a bit.

We almost ran out of gas today on trail and had to back track to the gas station lol. Another 77 miles today to end the long weekend.Hope to be back up in the next week or so. Praying for more snow!

You have more miles than me so far, we are way down on snow....6-8" maybe. We rode about 50 yesterday

We have 10-12” in Gaylord. Most around us have chitty trails. Lots of dirt

Nice Pics! Having a Great weekend, in the "Frozen Tundra" is pretty but not for us Southerners!
