Where is the best spot to attach hook at the machine when using a snatch block.

Where is the best spot to attach hook at the machine when using a snatch block.

I carry an axle strap and wrap it around the vertical frame member on the front if I have to use the snatch block but chances are you will never use it. Like a fire extinguisher always have one but hope you never use it.

Consider NOT putting it around both members as it will squeeze them together.

That's a great deal of frame damage

Correct, one side is all you need and stay low as possible

This is what I put on my 700, I'm sure you could do something very similar on the 500
