P1000 Side view mirrors. whatcha got?

I kept my Siezmik mirrors off my Viking & mounted 'em to the Pioneer this summer. Adjustable, fold back when a branch hits them etc. I love the size of them.. they work great in that aspect.

I've kept them semi-loose so they fold back instead of break..

Well, Tuesday, the drivers side mirror fell off. The sucker busted right at the plastic mount. Looking at the passenger side mirror, it's not far behind.

To say the least, I'm not to impressed with these mirrors.

Got any pics of that. I’ve got Kolpin on the P5 and P1k, they’ve been great and are much cheaper.

koplins here also, I have had them on my 700 for 3 years,I did crack the glass on the passengers side one trying to squeeze by a tree but other than that they work as designed. For the money they cost, I can reach over and reset them as needed.

I broke the glass on the passenger side when I flipped my P5, but that’s not Kolpin’s fault.

I promise you you’ll like them, and if you’ll turn the mounting bracket so that it’s inside your other body parts, you’ll be fine and the piece with the actual mirror in it that does stick out will fold in when you get into brush, though the wife and I always just pull them in ourselves when the trail narrows like that. I’ve had the pair on my P5 for 4 years now. For the money they’re outstanding.

Not at all! There’s so much light u don’t notice. Just wish I did the light bar earlier.

Also, I love those heavy duty D rings. Didn’t think the metal in that location would be strong enough to pull anything on them though??? Have you used them yet for anything?

A few times. Nothing super heavy. Pulling some logs, deer, and used it like a block and tackle. I used grade 8 bolts and doubled up some heavy fender washers on the back. So far so good .

Ok, cool. I’ve dented that area on the P5 fairly easily. But it may be thinner on the P5.

Could be. You should see what @trigger did to his on Drummond Island. He smashed that sucker. I felt bad after seeing that. I should have givin him a better line to run or givin him a heads up

I thought he fabricated a heavy duty steel grate or something and installed it across that area of his??

I have these same seizmik on my Honda. Went through 3 sets of the cheaper ones everyone has... kolpin , bad dawg, etc...
