P1000 Side mirror with glass winshield and soft doors

Has any one tried to mount the Honda outside mirrors. The windshield does not have a notch for the clamp.
If you go to the bottom of the windshield the rubber spacers Velcro fills the space. One could cut a new space in the windshield frame but that is dumb. Does Honda make a clamp with dual mounting holes.
One to support the windshield and the other to bolt the mirrors to.

Have the same setup. Ordered set of jeep mirrors that are removable and good quality. Built by quadrateck. Have not received them yet but can get you more info if interested. I needed removable ones because 1000-5 home is in 14 x7 enclosed trailer. Will post pics once installed. Happy trails, Franz

Thanks I will look at your mirrors also when you get them installed. Do your soft doors fit well or poorly as mine do.

The soft doors fit OK, there are gaps by front of door when closed. At least they open and close properly. Its not like a car where I would complain about the slightest air noise. At least there is an enclosure, better than my old Honda fourtrax with no protection.

The only thing I also did was limit how wide the doors open with a small cable attached to the door panel and interior body panel. This prohibited the soft panels from interfering with mirrors. The mirrors will vibrate due to engine vibration but they probably all do?
