Looking to use the shoulder strap mounting point on back of cage for light mount. Can anyone tell me the proper thread size for this? Have tried 10mm but to loose. Thanks

Try a 7/16 -20 thread pitch. That's what the lap belt bolts are.

Take the bolt out and take it to an auto parts store they usually have a tool near the fasteners that you can try the bolt in different holes with different threads, to find the right one.

It is not a 7/16, have tried 10mm and 7/16. 10mm too loose and 7/16 too big. went to a local honda dealer and they couldn't tell me what size it is, does not show up on parts diagram.

I dunno then bud. If you have a tap and die set you could try different size taps to see which one fits. Without having a bolt in it I don't know what else to recommend other than that

Ok I just went and checked it is a 7/16-20. You'll more than likely have to chase the threads...mine had mud, rust, and powder coat in there.

Yeah the only thing I ran into was I had to drill the mounting tab for the lap belt out a little bigger so I could use the factory shoulder bolts. And drill one hole in the passenger head rest.
