We have to have our guns cased here in the UP (Upper Michigan). So that don't help, thanks anyway.

Have you considered a Kolpin Gun Boot? They whole thing can be quickly detached save for a mounting plate which will also work with thier chainsaw boot.

This is what I have. Hangs from the ROPS right behind front seat. Works great. Keeps the dust off. Holds 2 guns and has pouches for ammo, rem oil, cleaning kit, etc.

Dan1960, that Cabelas case works great and has storage pockets also, it was on sale 2 weeks ago. Question for you, I also live in the UP, we usually come over your way for a fall color tour, I was wondering how your trails are sense the big storms you had this summer?

nice, a little wet in spots, but not bad. Just took a ride the other evening from White Pine to Rockland, round trip 52 miles.

I should have stated, boot, I always think of hard plastic and mounts, I looking for one that mounts. (built from hard plastic)
