P1000 Shift lever knobs

Any one had the shift lever knobs off. The manual tells how to orientate them when putting on but not how to take them off. must be a tab in there. thought I would save some frustration and ask the question.

Just pull. It will come off with some force.

Once you get it off, you can put one of theses on. Haha
