P500 Seat lifts up/down when locked

My seat will move up/down a good inch or two when it’s in the rubber grommets. The front corner when I exit always squeaks and seems like it’s really loose? Any ideas or fix?

Are the front tabs engaged? Are the grommets firmly affixed to the machine? My seat doesn’t move a millimeter when it’s popped in... Hopefully there is a simple solution.

Mine is solid as a rock! I’d check what @AlR suggested.

I found the culprit. The rubber strip was gone on driver side. I didn’t notice it at first but glad it’s a easy fix
