I got around to putting the heat barrier on my 1000 it really cut down on the heat and made it some what quieter in the cab to but like a dummie I never checked the temps before and the heat gun was laying right on the bench HaHa but after there was 10to15 degrees difference on the top of the seat to under it 9 11 16 007 9 11 16 008 9 11 16 009

I used the heat sheilding from summit racing I will post the numbers and price as soon as I find the bill HaHa But note when you put it on it dont come back off so you should have a friend help you and on ther seat bottom I removed the rubbers and put them back on and you can put masking tape around where you dont want it to stick because trust me it really sticks

That was a different way to apply the heat shield material. Nice thinking outside the box. Definitely looks slick. Did you do the same for the hard plastic panel that spans the seat bottom and seat back? That is the real transmitter of heat into the cab.
