I also just finished installing your Viper Elite Widespool 4500.
Also about to hook up Switch.

All that’s left is Orange and Black on dash switch/relay.
I also assume the Orange is Positive ( Us rookies get confused when wires are other than RED and BLACK when it comes to powering them up)

Since other winch connections say go to battery power non-switched ..... should I connect the Orange switched or not switched???... or does it matter???

Is this coming from the switch?
If yes. It needs 12v. Perfere key-on so your winch will only work with key-on. Also safety for this same reason.
