I would see what the dealer would do for you. Shouldn't happen.Hey guys, has anyone else had issues with the brake rotor bolts backing out and getting into the caliper mount? On my 21 1k5 both front and rear has done this on the driver side.View attachment 276988View attachment 276990 View attachment 276989
Took it there once they had it for 2 weeks, said they changed it. Picked it up and didn’t check it until I got home and they didn’t put the new bracket on then the rear decided to eat itself. so yeah..I would see what the dealer would do for you. Shouldn't happen.
Probably never tightened from factoryHaven't heard of this..
But it can defiantly happen if there not tight.
I have changed a few sets of pads and axles.... I don't ever re-lock tight them after removal.
Never had one back out.
Why not take pics and send them to your dealership and tell them your situation then they contact you and you schedule the apt on your own time. 🤷♂️My local dealer wants me to bring it in so they can take pics and send them to Honda to see if they will cover it. I use my machine daily and don't want to wait or go through the process of taking my machine to the dealer at least twice. Sucks but I just went ahead and bought the hub and bolts and fixed it myself in about 1 hours time.
