Hey guys, has anyone else had issues with the brake rotor bolts backing out and getting into the caliper mount? On my 21 1k5 both front and rear has done this on the driver side.

Yes I just had this happen to my left front. Had to order a new hub because it tore the threads right out of it. Going to lock tight the others now.

@hadleycat Honda is aware of this issue and (at least from the experience of one of our members) will fix it for free. Make sure to make a warranty claim.

Honda has a recall (or whatever non-liability term they're using) for the Talon too. Bring it in, we'll check to see if your rotors are tight.

My local dealer wants me to bring it in so they can take pics and send them to Honda to see if they will cover it. I use my machine daily and don't want to wait or go through the process of taking my machine to the dealer at least twice. Sucks but I just went ahead and bought the hub and bolts and fixed it myself in about 1 hours time.

Why not take pics and send them to your dealership and tell them your situation then they contact you and you schedule the apt on your own time. 🤷‍♂️

In the customer letter for recalls there is usually a section about reimbursement for repairs performed that involve that recall. But with it being under warranty it might be difficult to get.
