I was told that either Rotopax could fit on a Kolpin mount or Kolpin could fit on a Rotopax mount. I can't remember which. But that they both would not mount to each other’s mounts. It has to be one way or the other. Does anyone know? Is anyone confused about what I just typed or is it just me?

Amazon has them cheaper than the rotopax site.

I purchased mine from Rocky Mtn ATV online. Had to buy some u bolts instead of the included hardware. Took me longer to drill the holes than actually mounting the unit. All in all its a pretty sweet setup. You can piggy back other rotopax units on it with extra accessories that they make.

Forgot to mention that you should keep in mind if you will ever use a rear cab/window before mounting. I plan to get the rear panel and I am wondering how I will make it work. (Probably just mount over/through the panel)

Hardware isnt a prob perks of my job lmao but i am in love witn that setup once my other mods are done that is definitely on the list

ok here is what I found. Kolpin tank does not fit on a Rotopax mount. But a Rotopax does fit on a Kolpin mount with some play, but the down side is that Kolpin mount is, it doesn't make a duel tank mount like Rotopax.

These two weigh close to 35lbs with all the tools and recovery gear I have stuffed in them.
