P1000 Roof

Wanting a roof for my 1000-5. Hard top or soft top? Advantages/disadvantages of each. And for those who have them why did you choose what you have. Most of our riding will be in warmer weather and not “extreme” riding if that makes any difference. Newbie to the orv world so sorry if a dumb question, just want to make informed decision before handing over my $

My preference in the summer is my Alienshade. Cold weather the Honda roof is great. The Alienshade is a lot quieter

Honda roof because I can take it off and put it on by myself in a few minutes. Also cause these guys on this site say it super durable. I've only used it 2 rides but I'm happy so far.

We went soft top simply for the price right now. Just bought the 1000-5 last weekend and order the top and a few other accessories the same day. I was looking at the sunshades but decided being able to roll back the soft top to the rear bar and quickly open it back up was a big bonus to get the best of both worlds in case of rain/killer hot sun.

Plan on running the bamini top without the poles and rolling it back to the rear bar when not needed/trailering but its easy enough to pull to the front and slap 4 straps on to put it back in place with decent protection for the family while they ride.

My hard roof had been awesome...works great to slide along trees in the woods.
Ive got a honda 2 piece hardcoat windshield ill make you a real good deal on if your interested. We arent to far from each other.
