Roofs off , weighs about 70 LBS. Been a great father and sons project . Looks great so far . Think it's gonna look great when done . Concerned about how it's going to hold up . So far very impressed with the Black Jack rubber paint , wish I would have found this product years ago.

Been a good project as we wait for transmission parts .

The under side.
Materials used
1/2 gt plywood
2x2 gt beams
Screws
1 metric s*** ton of glue
Rubber paint

Lipstick on a pig ! Paint does wonders. Gonna look great from 15' away when new , look ok from 5" . 6 pack and she'll be a beauty queen after midnight!

All kidding aside, if I would have done more prep prior to paint it would turn out fabulous. Filled knot holes in the green treat and so on , maybe a little "bondo " .

I believe it's going to hold up great , won't recover from a tree branch hit like a plastic roof will . But the only option there is the overpriced Honda option that I personally don't like the look of . ( to each their own ) Steel or uluminum won't take the branch any better than wood , and in my opinion, still over priced.

Come on after market , build what I'm building out of plastic.

It's becoming my own !!

8 hand screws and the roof is off for those nice summer days !

Everything that mounts to the roof , rack and tire easily removed with hand screws .

On to the dual battery set up .
