Last night my daughter managed to roll my 1000-5 over and it came to rest on its windshield.

Her and her friend were mostly fine, my daughter got a couple of stiches in her elbow and her friend got six in her knee.

Surprisingly, the damage to the sxs was minimal, at least from what I can tell. I'll post pics here later.

I let it set overnight so all the fluids could equalize. When I checked it a moment ago, the trans is right where it's supposed to be but the engine is WAY over. I pulled the plug out of the rear engine and not a drop came out, so I presume it's all forward in the engine?

If I run it will it equalize, or should I plan on draining it? It's nowhere near due for an oil change, or I would just go ahead and do it.

In my world - driving privileges revoked.

Yes, that goes without saying.

The oil pan is where the level check is, the oil tank is the rear drain.

It oil gets pumped through the pan pickup, into thr oil cooler and then into the tank. So it might stall at first due to lack of DCT oil pressure at first. But it should be ok.

Thanks for clarifying. I have the service manual but it isn't clear from what I saw so far.

I still think I will drain and refill.

I think the most important step would be to pull the spark plugs out and crank the engine over for a while to rid the combustion chambers of excess oil that may have gotten past the rings. Also, that should allow the oil pump to circulate the oil out of the overfilled pan, through the engine and back into the tank. Other than that, I wouldn't think an oil change would be necessary. Just my 2cents tho.
