I pick up my Talon R on Saturday and am looking for the same thing, retractable harnesses. How do the harnesses connect to the bar behind the seats?

The X3 XRS retracts are awesome they function very well. The lower is a standard harness and manually adjustable the uppers are where the retracts are.

I’ll be buying another set for the Talon.

I have the X3 ones in my YXZ (Bought passenger side ones that don't have electronics in them & had to fab brackets). The only issue I have had with them is the retract part pulls up on them constantly and after a couple hours they get out of adjustment & start riding up. If I we going to install retractable in the Talon, I would look at the Click 6 version for Polaris as they would stay down. Only bad thing about them is they say Polaris on them & you would have to have upolstry shop cover that up LOL.

The click 6 look really good. I havent found any used sets and are 500+ for a set new.

I have the Click 6 harnesses in my RZR and aside from being stupid expensive ...$250 ea., I love them. I don’t think they will work on the Talon though. The Click 6 is designed specifically to mount on the RZR brackets.

So mine mount a little different.. they mount to the clamps I welded the angle on.. the harness bar is a removable bar from brick city fab. Point being, you can make anything work. Except maybe an uppity cotton picker.

the Canam ones have to be mounted a certain direction (horizontal if remember correctly) to retract correctly. You may want to go to a Canam dealer and look how the set orientation wise. I assume Polaris Click 6 require correct angle also.

For the CanAms you’re correct the mounting bolt has to point as straight up as possible.

True they don’t have to be exactly that angle.
