P1000 Repurposed front bumper

Instead of buying a rear bumper I decided to turn my old stock front bumper into a rear. Cheap fix. Had a couple of extra draw bars laying around, so i put them to use. Nothing fancy just pull the pin and remove if you need to use the dump bed.

No. You just pull the draw bar pin and remove the bumper

That would work fine. I have 2 front bumpers but no imagination or welding skills. Lol

Is that mounted to the hitch?

Yes. I didn’t want a bumper mounted to the dump bed frame In case I backed up into something or someone rear ended me and warped the bed. That happened to me when I had a Yamaha Rhino.

I cut a 1inch piece of square tubing to go between the two bars. I welded it to the top draw bar and the two braces to help stiffen it up and not twist.

That looks great. Would do a much better job of protecting down low (muffler, suspension) than one of those simple tube bumpers that doesn't look like it would do much of anything. I got rear-ended hard when I had my 500 and it actually bent the muffler. Your bumper setup would prevent that
