We bought this 2022 talon r in late 22. I've tried to make a few modifications to make it suit us better. Started with tires. I went with truck tires. Weller racing shocks. Redline line oil in subtrans. Cut hole in hood and made stainless vent for it to help get heat out from under hood. Made under floor tunnel blanket. Made rear engine wall heat shields for motor side. Made larger front firewall under hood heat shield. Made interior rear engine wall heat blankets side to side. Made interior tunnel blanket. Used 1/2 inch horse stall mat for floor mats. Made overhead storage in cab. Turn signals, horn, wipers, washer. Since my wife and I ride alone sometimes I wanted a rear winch so I built rear bumper with winch mount. The bar across back is for 2 rotopax gas cans. Made tool box back by motor.

Are you going to consider relocating the radiator down the road for further heat reduction?

If you aren't riding in heavy brush, you can remove the door lowers to help let the heat out. This isn't true on the newer models, the doors are one piece. I had lowers on my first Talon (stolen) and I won't put them on this one.

Probably not. With these in place it knocks out 75 to 80% of the heat.
