RECALL - 2016 - 2019 - ALL Honda Pioneer 1000's - Official throttle pedal assembly

Received the official recall letter today for the gas pedal rusting and sticking.

This is what sets Honda apart when it comes to recalls. You hear people saying.....
"Honda has had how many recalls",
"too many recalls for me"...
blablabla....

Other brands are forced to send them out. Even fined for not giving a crap after being fined for not giving a crap.

Then you have Honda who sends them out before they even hit the official CPSC recall website.

Yeah I got my letter too said they would clean it and oil first before parts come in if needed.

My dealer says they can't get the parts in. Have 5 sitting in their bay they had to pull from the line. Suggested I wait a couple weeks.

I'm bringing my pioneer 1000-5 in today they got the parts and supposed to fix it . So parts should be available soon for everyone.

I got mine done they replaced the gas pedal with a new one. Took the shop 30 min. works good.

After contacting the dealer, I was told that they needed to have the unit on-site to validate the specific assembly as the VIN number would not be specific enough. Has anyone else run into this?
