In case you didn't know the rear prop shaft does move around a bit inside the coupler as its spring loaded and the coupler does also move around a bit inside the diff. So maybe take it apart and see if anything is as bad as what your thinking. The coupler is just held inside the diff with a c clip and pulls out of the diff just like the axles do. You can unbolt the diff and slide it back far enough to be able to pull the prop shaft and coupler apart. Read this it's when I changed my rear diff seal. It shows how it can be taken apart without a whole bunch of disassemble ?? Hope this helps
Need to change the rear pinion seal on my PK1000 -3 Just wondering if anyone has done one on there machine. Is it possible to do this by just unbolting the diff and sliding it back far enough to seperate the drive shaft from the diff and then do the seal change . Or do I have to pull both rear...
