P1000 Rear axle differences

I have searched and my google fu must be off. Can someone tell me the difference in the rear axles? I now the front are interchangeable but what is the difference in the rears? I have not pulled them out to measure them, so the only think I can think of is length.

Also have anyone broke a stock rear axle other than @JTW? Thanks for the input.

One axle is longer than the other.

Thank you, that's what I was thinking I am just too lazy to pull them to measure.
