P500 Raising pioneer w/winch

Thinking about raising the front end of my P500 to access the OEM skid plate using the 3500# winch which has synthetic rope. How dangerous is this? Anyone else tried it?

That should work ok...although I wouldn't rely on that winch line alone to hold it up in the air.

I wouldn’t chill under anything suspended from a rope, steel or synthetic.

You want something supporting it.

I'm sure it would lift it but I wouldn't trust it to work under. It takes just a split second to come down if something fails. Use some jack stands or something to support it.
