I think im ready to start ordering stuff for a dual battery setup. my question is what pdm is everyone using. looks like a cooper bussmann pdm but I cant find a part number or a pdm 60 is there any great advantage from one to the other. also, just a brief description of the setup of a dual battery kit and pdm. maybe I overlooked it or didn't dig deep enough. Im no electrician nor do I even pretend to be. im sure i'll be able to handle it once I have everything in front of me. thanks in advance.

I have not done the dual battery. So, I can't help with that. But there are plenty of threads already.
I'm sure the first time my battery goes dead I will be moving this mod to the top of the list. Until then, I think it is fine.

That is what I chose for the 1000.

On my 700 I used the Cooper Bussmann box.

Cooper Bussman is true relay system while the PDM is just a power distribution module. With the PDM, if you need more then 15a draw then you have to install a relay. And if that's the case, you should just choose the Cooper Bussmann.
