Ok, well it feels weird posting something in the P1000 section of this awesome website. I normally lurk in the P500 section because of my P500. Although my wife owned a P700-4 I hardly ever posted anything about the things I did to it though. Well, she got a wild hair up her butt and decided she wanted to trade her 2015 P700-4 in on a 2018 P1K5 Deluxe. We actually drove her car 30 miles to the dealer just to window shop and see about the ins and outs of trading a machine for another one, and next thing I know we're signing papers and having to drive back home and put the P700 on the trailer and drive it back to the dealer to swap it for the P1000-5! So, I decided to make a build thread on this thing for the heck of it. She has already ordered about $638264836273856384626484.27 worth of crap for it, so I'm gonna be busy in the upcoming weeks. Its 'Project: Ramen Noodles' because thats all I can afford to eat now that we have started buying stuff for it lol! At least I like them. :) Ok well there is a small break between now and when all the stuff starts rolling in, so in the meantime I studied up what all has to be vented on a P1000-5 and went to Lowes and bought about 40' of 1/4" i.d. vent line, and a variety of barbed hose connectors to hook the 1/4" line to the factory vent lines. I will be venting both diffs, fuel tank, radiator fan, sub trans, and a shifter box or something like that its called. I'm going to start on that tomorrow. In the meantime, I just got done taking the safety nets off, because we believe in safety 3rd around here. Lol So far she has ordered 14" wheels that Im going to put my 30" Monster Mayhems on that I used to have on my P5 before I got portals. She ordered red center caps to go on the wheels to keep up with the red/black color scheme. She ordered a Warrior snorkle, KFI 4500lb. winch, winch mount, 52" curved light bar, 6 gang switch panel with voltmeter and cig lighter/usb charger, l.e.d. rock lights to mount in the fender wells so it glows red around the machine at night, a Highlifter 2.5" bracket lift, and an overhead bluetooth stereo system that has a couple of speakers and flashy lights and crap built into it. Heres a few pics of the machine before and after the net removal, and pics of all the crap Im gonna have to put on. Yall have a Merry Christmas!!!

I showed her a couple of cup holder switch panels like that, but she liked the switch panel without the cupholders for some reason. Thanks for the pic though! :)
I built the cup holder cause we drink out of yeti cups so ya know.
I also built some brackets to mount my light bar were the roll cage bolts together if need a pic for ref. Let me know.

Oh ok, you did a good job on the cup holder for sure! It looks professional. Also, yes I would love a few pics of the lightbar brackets. I was unsure how I was going to mount it because at the top of the rollcage, right below the roof overhang is where she wants it, but the tubing isnt round up there. It ovals out and curves to go towards the back so normal lightbar brackets wont go around the tubing. Thank you!
