I was read on the p1000 face book page where some one cut 3/4 spacers out of pipe and preloaded the front shocks. Has any one done this and/or has pictures?

Yes I have done this. I have no pictures of it, but I cut the pipe 1" and it lifted the bike 2".

I made a spring compress tool out of angle iron and all thread rod.
Been thinking about throwing the stock stocks out the window with the babies bath water and getting some after market shocks, the front really suffer. The 2017 have red springs HA
