P500 Plow strap- Alternative?

So I have a Warn 60” blade. I’m not crazy about the black strap that wraps around the front bar and then goes to the main hook. I have the winch cable going through a pulley on the plow tube and then the hook comes back up to attach to this black strap. Do you guys have any type of an alternative?

You have it hooked up wrong. You need to loop the cable through the other way and hook it in the hole on the push bar!

Thank you so much for the diagram! Of course my hook was too small so for now Im using a clip with the hook.

You are welcome , you sure that hook won't go into that hole on the push bar ?

Unfortunately it’s too tight, I plan to buy a new one soon to replace it...
