So just looking at the Honda riders Facebook group and there’s another PK that burned.. that makes 5 out of allllll the machines that have been sold. I would think that as much heat has the clutches receive with comments and posts.. that if there were that many more pioneers that had burned it would really be a “hot” subject and we’d hear about them.

But with all that I did noticed something strange..

3 of the machines seemed to have owners from and burned in Florida..

Insurance is cheap now. But if this keeps happening it won't be for long.

Many many factors could result in a unit catching fire. The one thats supposedly had been sitting for 4 days is kind of fishy.

Could be wiring chewed up, or fuel lines chewed up. Loose connection on owner installed accessories, or dealer installed accessories.

This pales In comparison to the Polaris problem. I've been I several of then that I'm honestly no sure how they weren't already on fire. Melted wire harness next to fuel lines, Ignition wires misfiring to the fuel rail.

We had a customer who had his stuffed to the hilt with home insulation to keep cold out. It was laying on the engine and his never bothered to catch fire. So this is a weird series of occurrences for sure.
