Anyone interested or know anyone who might be interested in being the 2017 Pioneer Takeover Master Cook?

Last year our Master Cook was awesome. BBQ was other smoked items were off the chain. Couldn't have asked for a better person than the great guy we had for 2016. Hats off to your sir!

For 2017 we are unable to persuade the same smoke master to cook. As we all have a life, commitments sometimes get in the way of our fun. So that leads me to the reason for this post... I need to start looking for ideas for a cook as I prefer to NOT hire a catering company!

Would like to ask if anyone in our group has the ability or is willing to cook us up a storm Saturday evening?
The menu is completely open for discussion.
Saturday set time is around 7 pm.
Main item(s) + side dish(s) and a dessert.
Will need to oversee setup and teardown.
We can locate some helpers.
The club will provide funding for the purchase of all items and some for your time.

If interested contact me --> @HondaSxS

Thanks.

Does anyone in the area have a large enough bbq pit? I would be willing to being some fire wood and briskets from Texas. If there is a few people willing to help( 2 or 3) we can pull this dinner off.

I can do some brisket, chicken, vinison link sausage for the meats. And potatos with cheese and maybe beans. The briskets need about 4 to 6 hours and the rest about 2 hrs to prepare.
Also another idea is that i cook the briskets at home and then freeze and reheat there.

I could probably bring the grill that we used last year which was enough to cook for all of us and more. But I won't be able to bring the cook. He really wanted to make it but had something planned.

I don't think I can get the grill on the trailer so I would need someone to tow my pioneer or tow the grill. Also last year I brought the mobile shop, me and Mike and Delton had just about every tool you could ever imagine. I'll probably do that again so if I need to bring the grill, I'll need somebody to tow it up there.

The grill is in north AL. I'll ask him if he minds if we take it. I just think it's too wide to fit on my 7' wide trailer.

My brother had the same grill darn near axel was turned the other way. Anyways all his stuff was stolen. In okc. What a difference compared to wis. He got his rv back trashed hi way dept found it. Buddy that's a wounded warrior touring the country was taken as well. Lesson learned.
