P500 Picked up new 500

It came down to a Can-Am 800r or a Pioneer 500. I know two vastly different machines. The Pioneer will more than likely do everything we need it to but the 800r was on clearance at a good price. The fact that the P5 will fit in a truck easier was the decision maker.

So we got a 2016 with roof, windshield, cargo tray, mirror, horn and turn signal kit.

It'll be used at a pit vehicle at the dragstrip, some off roading with the wife and to run around town.

I have the stock tires and wheels but I'm considering some 14" ITP SS112 or SS212's on car tires. I'll either go with a cheap street tire($50 each) or more of a mud/snow tire that could still be used for mild off road use.

Thanks! Street legal now. Passed the inspection except we had to add reflective tape to the corners. We rode around town a little while. Got a lot of stares. lol I ran to the grocery store and was stopped by a guy I know. He said he heard about the new UTV law and wondered how long before he saw one. He loved the P5. We even did a dry run to my wife's work so she knows which way she can go.

The Chief of Police told us we are the 4th permit to be sold. I've seen 2 other Polaris' already.

I've been to Coles County a couple of times. I raced the Division 3 finals at Indy several times over the past 20 years but only once in the altered. Raced a street car at Bowling Green a few times.
