PGM FI: Changed already?

Someone with Honda parts knowledge can maybe answer this...
I was at http://www.mrcycles.com/oemparts/a/hon/ ... re-harness and i noticed that the number for the PGM FI unit has been superseded. Does this mean that the programming has been updated?

P.S. Much cheaper than i would expect.

wow... you may be right here. it will be hard to get an answer from Honda on this.
with only the last number changing it does mean there was a update to something.... but what? Could only be the programming.

Now, How do I tell what version I have?

Yep. The ECM/PCM...or whatever Honda calls it.

Looked around at the parts fiche for a while, and many of the parts are surprisingly cheap for this machine.

Yep, Its what most call the main computer.

Under it you will find the part number. Mine is V3.


Now yall got me looking into programming these units. I read people have done that for there CBR's.
