Does anyone cook on one. If so do you mind sharing the pros and cons. I'm looking hard at converting over to one. Especially the smaller models, I can take it camping, down to the cabin etc. thank you in advance.
I have cooked a lot on a green mountain. They are awesome. They really make it easy to smoke. Briskets and pork butts are so easy to do. My dad bought the small green mountain one and liked it so much he actually became a dealer. I also have done some venison roasts. So good.
You won't be disappointed with a green mountain grill.
Is the small one big enough for a from deer shoulder?
I'm in... I want one for Christmas but man... Why are these things so expensive.
You can buy a large electric smoker for $2fiddy but small pellet is $400+.
Hate to buy a cheap one but dang... I cant shell out 4hunddrd!

im in the elevator maintance business, im OCD about doing maintenance on stuff. A little vacuuming is no problem. My father in law does that exactlyhe sets the pellets on a metal plate near the charcoal....If you don't like preventative maintenance stay away from pellets.
