P1000 Painted Shifter Lettering

I used a paint pen to paint the shifter lettering today. I’m not the best painter, but I can see it better now...

Lol, you can see where the pen slid off and put a Mark where it shouldn’t have in a few places...

Yeah, I had to get pretty close to it to see it. And my hands aren’t as steady as they used to be...

I done this to mine a couple years ago. I used Testers model paint and a very fine brush. All of my family have Pioneer 1000-5 and they all said my didn't come that way. At first I just said oh, really that's how mine came? it's very easy to do and Testers has a ton of colors.

I used a silver periminute marker, turned out good.

I used a silver paint pen still looks like the day I did it.

White paint pen 3 years ago and it still looks like new. Don't know why Honda doesn't do this.
