  2. 700-4

  3. Do not currently own
As background, I have owned a P700-4 and it was a nice unit, so I'm familiar with "regular" version and currently, a P500 owner. I have no need for the additional carrying capacity in terms of people, but a "bed" would be nicer than anything I have come up with on my P500. In short, I have an opportunity to pick up a new Deluxe 700 and from what I have read includes paddle shifting/power steering, two options I would like. So my question are and for anyone who may have driven both (non-deluxe and deluxe) impressions and for the deluxe is it only 3 gears or 4? I would like to hear anything about the deluxe version as I consider this option.... Thanks

It has 3 gears. What I like the most on my 700-4 deluxe is manual mode or auto mode

That is what appeals to me as well, i.e., ability to hold in a specific gear plus power steering.

Exactly. After adding power steering to the 500 and now with a 1000 with EPS, I'll never own another machine without power steering. Of coarse Tusk and I think SuperATV make a power steering kit for the 700, so that's another option.

The dealership I do business with has a whole over model (700-P2 model Deluxe) and wanting to chat this week, so we'll see what happens. I do like the idea of shifting, power steering and a nice utility bed for the things I routinely move around whether here on the property or during my hobbies...

The paddles are nice. But really didn't care either way. The wheels are ok and the tires still are par or below average. The power steering was the only must have for me. I guess it all depends on the price of each. The add on power steering was easy to in stall and only 500 bucks.

I like my deluxe but i did buy better looking after market wheels for it. I like the paddles but it stays in auto 99.9 % of the time, but the power steering is sweet.

Got a question on the deluxe. Does it come with fox shocks and the under dash storage?

The biggest advantage it has is on long uphill climbs you can keep it in first and not risk it changing to second.

If I came with fox shocks no-one would buy the standard model but the springs are powder coated to match but that only helps with appearances.

i figured id save the 2500 and if really felt like it needed it, but it doesnt, 12yr old daughter drives it around the yard and that doesnt feel that heavy, but if you want you can just get aftermarket for $500, everything else is looks crap i dont care about. the trans always seems to be in the right gear too, that was the thing i was worried about but its very well engineered for me anyway.
