Thanks for the caps! The fit is perfect and they give the back of the P5 a more finished look. I had to clean dirt out of the frame before putting the caps in so I definitely see a need for them.

P500 Frame Caps Installation

Tools Required
Rubber Mallet
Air Compressor (optional)

Install Points

Clean Out Frame
Some dirt and rust was in the frame tubes, so I blew it out with air. It cleaned up easily.

I installed the caps by hitting them in with a rubber mallet. The fit was tight and looked good.
I wanted to completely close the two top tubes as the front are also open. The driver’s side went on easy.
The passenger side is obstructed by the battery box. I got it in by using a large flat head screwdriver prying gently against the battery box.All in All, the caps, serve a purpose, look good and will likely hold up for a long time. I don’t see them falling out and they should keep dirt and water out of your frame. Honda should have done this.

For everyone who has a set already... I will be sending you the rectangles this week.
Has anyone lost a cap somehow. I have 1 report of a round one coming out. Wanted to ask if anyone else has.

Also, Run some ideas by me for the best way to install the round one by the elec box without removing it?
