I needed more room at times while at my hunting lease, so I've added a rooftop carrier from cabelas. It is easily removable without tools. For the front bar I used 1" black pipe and for the rear I used 3/4" aluminum square tubing. Both are attached to the roof clamps so it comes off with the roof if ever needed plus no addition holes were needed in the roof.
Several times I have strapped feeder legs, pole saws, etc... to the roof. This should provide a better way to carry long/bulky lightweight items up and out of the way. The basket is 66"x39" with the included extension. Total weight of the carrier is 29lbs with the ext. Here are some photos installed.
