P500 Oil change intervals

Wondering why the pioneer 500 oil changes are due at only 600 miles? Whereas the 1000 pioneers are at 1200 miles. 600 miles adds up fast. I'm dealing with it however seems like they could do better that way?

Oil change is pretty easy , change it and ride. I would guess the difference is the single works hard like my 700 same schedule as yours. Oil is cheap insurance.

My guess is because if engine design.
1000 uses oil bearings and the 700/500 uses roller bearings.
