P1000 Odyssey PC925 Full Metal Jacket

FYI, just noticed the full metal jacket PC925 is rated to 176F operating temperature versus the non-FMJ version is rated to 113F.

Obviously, I purchased the battery only rated to 113F not noticing this!

I am guessing the air coming off of the radiator will be more than 113F in the Summer and the 2nd battery box basically hangs down behind the radiator. With any luck the air intake will pull enough air from underhood area to keep battery closer to ambient.

I haven’t heard of any issues from going the lower rated battery.

Seems like it should work, however I figured it was worth mentioning for anyone that hasn't purchased a PC925. The FMJ version looks to be $20 more.
