Noisy idle

Does anyone else's talon seem to be noisy at idle? I hate to use the word "knock" cuz it's not loud enough to be a rod knock. But it seems noisy in the crank case only at idle.

So you're telling me this is nothing I should worry about? Just the nature of the motor? It gets louder when it's warm but doesn't happen at higher road

Have you checked the valve lash recently. It might be something simple like a valve adjustment...

I merely meant that it idles louder and rougher than an in-line twin or 180 degrees motor.

Its definitely not valve lash

I wonder if it could be timing chain tensioner.
