I'm trying to help my brother solve his noise problem. His stereo works great but when he turns the light bar on it makes alot of noise through the speakers. Is there a filter or something to put in the positive line to stop it? Thanks for any ideas.

Usually an issue with the cheap China electronics in the lightbar.
Confirm you have a good ground. Might be able to use a ground loop isolator from a car stereo to help.

When it comes to audio, always run the shortest ground as possible. Make sure power cables and sound cables are separated, loom if necessary. If that still doesn't take care of it, like Neo said, ground loop isolator. I actually had an old one packed away for 20 yrs that I ended up using on my machine, was using a cheap amp and couldn't get the engine noise out of it...it worked.
