P1000 No Rear Engine Mud Cover on P1k3's?

Hello.
I am getting ready for a trip to Royal Blue.
Checking the oil, looking for loose/stripped
bolts, etc, and the manual mentions a rear
mud cover. I suppose it's for the P1k5's, but
I wanted to make sure there is not one for
the P1k3's.

Any input appreciated.

Is the cover mentioned in the engine oil dipstick area?

If so, then yes there is a rubber flap that covers the dipstick area. It is located on the driver side rear floor pan in the 5 seater.

Mine is missing that cover as well. Think it's normal based on the owners manual.

Yes. Guide was based off the p5. I will look at adding p3 reference sometime.

@Johnny_C when are you headed to royal blue? Or are you just talking about the [HASHTAG]#PioneerTakeover[/HASHTAG]?

Sorry I left this hanging.

I did pick up the idea of the mud cover from the
manual. Is it written for the P5? It would help me
to know that.

I called the dealer & he checked the 2 or 3 there
& said they didn't have one. Also, I looked at mine
last night & there are no mounting holes for one,
so I came to the conclusion that the P3's do not
have them, although I might add a rubber flap
just for giggles.

The P5's need them because that area is exposed
with the rear seats deployed, I suppose.

We are going to RB this weekend. There will be 5 or
6 vehicles in our group, but I will be the only sporting
a Honda! I gotta get my sxs decals on. I have a go pro
mount in place, too!
