Hey guys, new to the forum and the side by side world. Purchased a 2016 Pioneer 700-4 last week and we love it. I just ordered an inexpensive light bar, mounts, and wiring off eBay. Is there anything special I need to do to the battery for wiring? I know it’s a newb question, but I don’t want to jack anything up. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the club, if you’re not adding much else you can just go directly to the battery but you may want to consider adding a 2nd battery and a fuse block for your future accessories.

Do you have the accessory sub harness? If not you’ll want to pick one up. Check out the HondaSxS Club store for other deals. 😎

Would you mind posting a link to the sub harness? I must have overlooked it in the store. Also, any feedback on the back-up lights that are plug and play?
Haven’t received the lights yet, ups seems to be delayed.

I don’t have the backup lights but everyone here raves about them. That will be my next upgrade. 😉

I know I'm late to the party but I added a 2nd fuse block and ground bus bar under my hood for all accessories to be fused and have power when the key is off.

Also installed a 6 switch panel to my dash for everything to run off of.

I ran a hot wire from the battery to the fuse block, then just grounded the bus bar to the radiator support.

I'm now in the process of adding a 2nd battery just to run all the accessories. That's all that it will power is the 6 switches that have 2 led light bars and 2 sets of led pods. 1 set of interior lights and the 6th will power my stereo set up one day.

Also you might consider swapping out the head light bulbs to these, so much brighter than the factory bulbs and they are plug & play installation. 05a1c77df4f8fca9321e3b9bfcd04d11A1169fd2a2ca835cbaa16a3eb185dc45E3400ba47e5365cd72656eeb0b06dae9F87a3e06ce72533572b5dfabf776fa87C2acf13b8511203a4289d25d96903d9c64e6509fa9dfbcd5e08ec868b8c259631853462cbc447e01cc64f0928f67c289

Great job and great build on your Pioneer. If you were close to Auburn, AL, I’d hire you to come take over on my install!

If you want back up lights this is the harness that will plug into the back up alarm plug on the rear of your buggy and when lights are hooked to it will automatically come on when you put buggy in reverse.

This is what it looks like and the area its located on the right rear frame rail.0e229720defe04a2f6235445d011a3abEb2798ddbf5671ec65097d736c5a5986A9a059fb2d055b40c01a4aed36143be4

Also, on the headlight bulb replacement, were you able to install those and put the back cap on once the light was installed? I tried some from Oracle Lighting but the back plastic cap would not go back on and the bulb just didn’t seem to sit very well in the housing.

Yes, just pull the dust cover, remove old bulbs and install, replace cover.

What year is yours? Mines a 2020.
