New Talon design experiments

Having a short run of 10 conversion kits made to see if they will be a go. On the store listing I will include a few filter part numbers that will work, but basically any air filter for a 2025 Ford Explorer V6 will fit.

I've postponed the release of this product because I'm working through a design to hinge this clamping plate on one side and only have one bolt to remove on the opposite side to release the air filter. This is a suggestion that I wanted to experiment with and I think I can make it work. This design would make it worth the purchase.

Looks like I'll be getting a short run of 10 filter conversion clamps anyway. The sheet metal guys failed to halt production of these. Let me know if you're interested. These will accept various filters so if anyone wants to run Napa, Supertech, Fram, Wix, or any other panel filters for a Ford Explorer, they will work. There is a NAPA or Walmart in almost every town so this common filter should be easily found even on vacation.
