So I ordered Extreme Metal Products rear bumper mounting brackets & used a piece of aluminum Ibeam I had laying around for my custom rear bumper. I haven't decided yet, but I think I might paint it black. Clears the tailgate by about 1/2" when open & dump bed still works. Looks good. I've been trying to figure out a way to do this also without breaking the bank.

Rear bumper brackets were $40 plus shipping. I had the ibeam laying around the garage. Just painted it yesterday, so with the cost of the brackets & paint I have about $65- 70 into it

Got it painted black. I'm happy with how it turned out for the most part.A0b858f42d831f5065c74c8f20e0ed2dF8e7affec474d4ccc3aa9aed819f1dc5
