New Pioneer 1000 LE 3P

Just picked up my new 2018 Pioneer 1000 LE 3P.
Only have 7 miles on it, no more time today, will get out this weekend.
I have a couple of negatives so far, seat gets very hot, right door rattles, rear box rattles and a major amount of air comes through shifters gates.

I thought most of these problems were corrected on the 2018 models, I guess not, I'm very surprised at Honda for building a product of this kind of money and not be better than it is. Now I need to figure out how to fix or correct Hondas problems. I guess when you spend 20,000.00 this is I we can expect, what a shame.

welcome hond has fixed aloof the issues but there are still some that have to be done door and bed adjustments are easy to stop the rattles and on the 3 seater take off the access cover under the bed and most of your heat will go away

To the OP; The issues on the '18 are minor. I've had mine a month, and have ironed out most of 'em.

*The bed rattle is fixed by either adjusting the catch, or if it's like mine and the catch is already as far as it can go.. a short piece of 3/8" fuel line wrapped around the catch held on by duct tape. Works perfectly.
*The doors.. I think I'm gonna go with the RG3 hinge inserts.
*I honestly havent' noticed any air coming thru the shifter gates.. but there is a member on here that makes a cool fix for that too.

I didn't believe it but a little electrical tape around the stationary part of the door and dump bed latchs took care of the door rattles

Is there any downside to this? Why would you go to all the work of putting in a fan, and ducting it out the bottom of the machine, if simply taking this plastic cover off does the job?

why hasn't anyone else mentioned this??? The motor on my Viking was completely out in the open.. I don't see why removing a plastic cover would be a bad thing..

Not to be disagreeable but I removed mine with no noticeable difference at all.
