P1000 New Glass Windshield

Just installed my new SXS windshield. Took about 45 minutes by myself to install and I did not have to remove the Honda factory top. I was able to use the two lower bolts to attach my cube lights. Turned out really clean. Also added two wipers. The construction is very well made and I received it in two days after I ordered it. They do ship out of northern Utah and I am in Reno, NV. but it shipped the day I ordered it. 801UTV.com is where I bought it and I can't wait to hit the trails in about an hour.

In Reno it is freezing in the winters but nice and hot in the summer. I am hoping that the flaps will work.

It was good. no rattles stayed in place and it was amazing how clear it is compared to lexan. I did have to tighten up one of the bolts from vibration. They should have probably included lock nuts. I will be putting those on ASAP.

Looked at your site, are the wipers synced and do they cover most of the windshield? Are they extra? I'm not seeing any info on them or the windshield other than pics.

The windshield is set up for two manual wipers, They are extra. The frame is powder coated black, the glass is 1/4 inch lamented safety glass with a slight tint. There are duel flaps that open and close for great ventilation. Easy to put on.

Do the vent flaps lock into place while open? Just curious if high speed will cause them to close on their own...

They lock open very secure. I dont think you will have an issue with them closing at any speed or vibration. When they are open they also make a nice flat surface to hold your beer!

The lack of power wipers makes me disinterested.
