As a Lifetime/Supporting Member I haven't seen ads in a while. I'm using the laptop/full website, maybe mobile is different. I know I said #tuckfapatalk months ago because they started loading it with ads.

Me too, but there was alway an ad in the top right corner.

I probably got so use to seeing it I just ignored that one then.

I don't like how the notifications say (user) Reacted to your post in (long thread name) with blah blah

It used to say (user) quoted your post..... or (user) liked your post.

It was easier to scan through and look for where someone quoted so I could click and respond.

It is in your user preferences. You can specify what shows up as a notification and what doesn't. Probably a good 8 or so options.

Yeah currently a little harder to tell between read and unread. Bold is there, but harder to pick up on than it was pre-upgrade. Low priority imho

This was the 1st thing I noticed, no differentiation between active and old posts, then I noticed that I had to log in again. Once I did that, the new, bold posts showed back up.

@Hondasxs the ad's take over your screen when viewing the site via your phone (mine is an iPhone). It is hard to navigate because the ad's take up so much space when viewing on your phone.
